Itinerary
DAY 0 DEPARTURE FROM DELHI
Evening: Assemble with your group at the designated departure point in Delhi.
- Meet your tour coordinator and get a short briefing about the journey ahead
- Board a comfortable private vehicle (Tempo Traveller / SUV / Bus depending on group size)
Night:
- Begin your overnight journey to Chopta (approx.400 km | 10–12 hrs)
- Enjoy scheduled stops for refreshments and restroom breaks
- Travel through scenic highways passing Haridwar, Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, and Rudraprayag
Day 1 ARRIVAL IN SARI, CULTURAL EVENING & RELAXATION
Afternoon:
- Arrive in the quaint village of Sari, nestled in the Garhwal Himalayas
- Check into your homestay, freshen up, and unwind after the long journey
- Enjoy welcome tea/coffee/local drink Daytime:
- Acclimatize to the mountain air and explore the peaceful village surroundings
- Take short walks around the fields and enjoy views of the Himalayas
- Lunch (Optional- Paid)
Evening:
- Experience a local cultural event featuring traditional Garhwali music, food, and folk
performances - Join the fun with your group and soak in the authentic mountain vibes
Night: Dinner at the homestay followed by a relaxed overnight stay in Sari
DAY 2 TUNGNATH & CHANDRASHILA TREK | DRIVE TO CHOPTA
Early Morning: Wake up early and enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
- Prepare your daypack with essentials water, snacks, camera, and warm clothing
Morning Trek: Begin your trek from Chopta (8,700 ft) towards Tungnath Temple (12,100 ft).
- Distance: ~4 km | The trail passes through Rhododendron & Deodar forests
- Take short halts for rest, hydration, and photos.
- Reach Tungnath Temple, the world’s highest Shiva temple, and soak in its divine aura
Midday: Continue a steeper 1.5 km climb to Chandrashila Peak (13,000 ft).
- Witness breathtaking 360° Himalayan views of Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Kedar Peak & Bandarpunch
- Spend ample time for photography and relaxation
Afternoon: Descend back to Chopta via the same
route with breaks for rest and hydration.
- Reach by late afternoon; enjoy evening tea and
snacks
DAY 3 TREK TO DEORIA TAL & RETURN TO DELHI
Morning:
- Wake up early and have breakfast at the campsite
- Short drive to Sari village (15 km) Trek:
- Begin the 2.5 km uphill trek through oak and rhododendron forests
- Reach Deoriatal Lake, a crystal-clear alpine lake reflecting the majestic Chaukhamba Peak
- Relax, click pictures, and enjoy packed snacks by the lakeside
Afternoon:
- Descend back to Sari village and board your vehicle
- Begin your return journey to Delhi, with en route stops for meals and refreshments.
Night: Arrive in Delhi late at night or early next morning, marking the end of your trip

Terms and Conditions
- Adherence to program timings is crucial; missed services are non-refundable.
- Guests are required to present valid photo identification upon arrival.
- According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID must be carried by every person above the age of 18. The identification proofs accepted are Aadhaar Card, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, and Passport. Without a valid ID, the guest will not be allowed to start the trip.
- We may adjust itineraries because of external factors or unforeseen circumstances without changing the overall experience, so we will let you know on a priority basis.
- Your stay does not include additional expenses of a personal nature, such as additional meals, snacks, laundry, room service, or any other amenities/services not covered above under the inclusions section. Homestay will charge you directly for all additional expenses at the time of check-out or during your stay, as applicable.
- Please note that the forest fee or the trekking fee by the Department of Forest is not included in the package.
- Travellers should carry medical documentation.
- Unexpected costs incurred due to natural/political disruptions are the customer’s responsibility.
