Itinerary

DAY 0 DEHRADUN → SANKRI

6:30 AM: Meet your trek leader at Dehradun Railway Station / ISBT.
7:00 AM: Start your scenic drive to Sankri (approx 190 km / 8–9 hrs) via Mussoorie, Purola and Mori, following the beautiful Tons River.

Afternoon: Lunch break en route at Purola — the last major market before the trek.
Continue the drive through pine forests and mountain curves.

Evening: Arrive at Sankri village by 5:00 – 6:00 PM. Check into your homestay, relax, and enjoy sunset views of the surrounding peaks.

Night: Dinner and overnight stay at Sankri. Get a good rest before your trek begins tomorrow.

7:00 AM: Breakfast followed by a 1-hour drive to Taluka — the starting point of your trek.
Morning: Begin your trek along the Supin River, through dense cedar and pine forests with occasional stream crossings and wooden bridges.
Afternoon: Pass through charming villages like Daatmer and Gangad. Enjoy your packed lunch amid mountain meadows.
Evening: Arrive at the riverside campsite at Puani Garat. Enjoy evening tea with snacks and soak in the valley views.
Night: Dinner and overnight stay in tents under a starlit sky.

Morning:

  • Wake up early and have breakfast at the campsite
  • Short drive to Sari village (15 km) Trek:
  • Begin the 2.5 km uphill trek through oak and rhododendron forests
  • Reach Deoriatal Lake, a crystal-clear alpine lake reflecting the majestic Chaukhamba Peak
  • Relax, click pictures, and enjoy packed snacks by the lakeside

Afternoon:

  • Descend back to Sari village and board your vehicle
  • Begin your return journey to Delhi, with en route stops for meals and refreshments.

Night: Arrive in Delhi late at night or early next morning, marking the end of your trip

Early Morning: Have breakfast and start for the majestic Har Ki Dun Valley. Walk through lush alpine meadows with the peaks of Swargarohini and Black Peak towering above.
Morning: Cross wooden bridges and snow patches to reach the serene Har Ki Dun viewpoint. Capture panoramic Himalayan vistas.
Afternoon: Continue a short trek to Marinda Tal, a glacial pond near a roaring waterfall. Spend some time soaking in the beauty before returning.
Evening: Descend back to Kalkatidhar for tea and snacks.
Night: Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Morning: After breakfast, descend back towards Osla Village. Interact with locals and learn about Garhwali culture and traditions.
Afternoon: Enjoy lunch on the way and continue your descent through forests and river crossings.
Evening: Reach Puani Garat and relax beside the Supin River. Enjoy evening snacks and tea.
Night: Dinner and overnight stay at Puani Garat camp.

6:30 AM: Wake up early, breakfast and start the trek back to Taluka, retracing your trail through pine forests and streams.
Morning: Enjoy the descent and spot migratory birds along the way.
Afternoon: Reach Taluka and board your vehicle for the drive to Sankri.
Evening: Check-in to your homestay, refresh and celebrate the successful completion of your trek.
Night: Dinner and overnight stay at Sankri.

6:30 AM: Breakfast and depart for Dehradun. Drive through Mori Valley and Dev Thal, witnessing the Tons and Yamuna confluence.
Afternoon: Lunch break en route with scenic mountain views.
Evening: Arrive in Dehradun by late evening — marking the end of an unforgettable Har Ki Dun Valley adventure.

  • Guests are required to present valid photo identification upon arrival.
  • According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID must be carried by every person above the age of 18. The identification proofs accepted are Aadhaar Card, Driver’s License, Voter’s Card, and Passport. Without a valid ID, the guest will not be allowed to start the trip. 
  • We may adjust itineraries because of external factors or unforeseen circumstances without changing the overall experience, so we will let you know on a priority basis. 
  • Your stay does not include additional expenses of a personal nature, such as additional meals, snacks, laundry, room service, or any other amenities/services not covered above under the inclusions section. Homestay will charge you directly for all additional expenses at the time of check-out or during your stay, as applicable.
  • Please note that the forest fee or the trekking fee by the Department of Forest is not included in the package.
