escapes.asia Living in the mountains is often something people wonder about. They ask, “Is it much slower than city life? Do you ever get bored?” It’s hard to speak for everyone, but the slowness itself is part of the charm: walking to the music of birds singing, starting the day with a delicious breakfast and a breathtaking view, having long conversations and sharing laughter with the locals, enjoying evening sunsets or playing sports like cricket, volleyball, or football—there’s always something to do. The cool breeze, a mug of hot chocolate at night, wrapped up in a cozy blanket, sinking into a comfortable bed—it’s all part of the magic. Life here offers so much; it’s about experiencing it rather than being stressed. That’s what the mountains teach you: finding happiness in the little things, learning to appreciate the simple joys of life. You’re always welcome in this journey with us. #chopta #choptatungnath #sari #sarivillage #pahadi #pahadilife #uttarakhand #himachal #mountainlife
